An excellent performance to earn a draw against top of the table

Well a really tough game for us against one of the top teams in the division but the lads played well and kept going right to the end. After losing 7-0 to them earlier in the season I think this shows the massive improvement in the team and that we are no push-over.
Alex Jones had very little to do in goal today - a couple of really good saves but our defence kept the ball well away from him.
Mohsen Haidari has impressed me every week since he found his way into playing right back. A natural defender and made two very important blocks to prevent what looked like sure fire goals. A great performance
Nathan Rammell has week in week out given great performances at the back - he moved from left back to center back at half time today and played as well in both positions.
Travis James had another solid performance at center and helped us to be really tight and good at the back. A tough tackler today and cleared the ball well.
Alex Morecock ran well today and tackled hard in midfield , his injury to his knee cut short his game but whilst he was on the pitch he played really well.
Oliver Rammell played well in midfield and he has a great engine for covering from box to box , he chases the ball well and tackles back. A good game and he worked hard in midfield.
Louis Wallett drifted in and out of the game to begin with but got better and better as the game went on. He worked hard and with a bit more practice up front he can cause defences some real problems. His goal was typical Louis , he battled and pushed his way between defenders to finally sweep the ball into the back of the net. He deservedly won Man Of The Match today.
Rhian Gwilliam had a good game when he came on , he made some really important tackles and cleared the ball up the line so well today.
Owain Morris added loads of pace to the game when he came on and he also made some really important tackles to prevent shots.
Harry Farrington worked hard up front on his own in the 2nd half and kept making runs and causing problems , he had a couple of good runs and if it hadnt been for a couple of good tackles by Newbridge defenders he may have got some shots on goal.

Overall another tight well disciplined performance , now all we need to work on is going forward and we will end up with a team everyone is worried about play.
